Sally Louise Crumley, widow of Lloyd Henry Crumley, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012.
Born in Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late Swinton Bissell and Bertha Rae Tucker.
Mrs. Crumley was a homemaker and a member of Sans Souci Baptist Church for over 65 years. She loved her church. She served on the Greenville County Council and was greatly involved in the Greenville Community. Her desire was to transcend the political environment and focus on how we can all make government work better for everyone in Greenville County.
Surviving are two sons, Stan Crumley and wife Debbie and Tim Crumley of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren, Chase Crumley, Jared Crumley, Michele Coffey and husband Daniel and Laura Crumley; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Fulwider and husband Laverne of Anamosa, IA; nephew, Ronnie Tucker and niece Susan Nutting. She was predeceased by four brothers and a son, Michael Crumley.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be Monday, May 7, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Northwest Chapel. A private committal service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sans Souci Baptist Church, 3100 Old Buncombe Rd., Greenville, SC 29609.
