Reed Cox was born September 7, 1971 in Durham, N.C. to Mrs. Barbara Jones Cox and the late Roger Stanley Cox.

Surviving in addition to his mother is a brother: Rod Cox and wife April; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents: George and Lucretia Cox; Norma Jones Riley and his beloved dog: Lilly.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Cannon Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Bruse Pack.

Memorials may be made to North Greenville, L-TAC, 807 North Main Street, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the North Greenville L-TAC for allthe loving support and care given through the last year of Reed's life.

So sad to hear of Reeds passing,he was a good guy with so much to offer,I can't begin to tell you of the smiles and the laughs we once shared.It's time to fly my friend,until we meet again.......I have and will always love you;(

As Reed's physician for many years, I will always remember him as such a special person and patient. He always had a kind word for me and my staff. His love and support of the Carolina Gamecocks was ever present. Go Cocks!
