Waddy McFall Anderson, Jr.

Greenville

Waddy McFall Anderson, Jr. born July 4, 1924, the son of Waddy M. Sr. and Margaret Ellis Anderson, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, June 15, 2012.

A lifelong resident of Greenville, he served in World War II as a Naval Aviator. His career was with the Coca Cola Bottling Company of Greenville, a family business from which he retired as President in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Allene Peterson Anderson; five children, Waddy M. III (June); Walter G; Charles E., Lucretia (Mrs. Arthur Tackman) and John F. (Judy); ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and his sister, Mrs. James T. Pearce (Kit).

Following a private graveside service on Sunday, June 17th, a 3 p.m. memorial service will be conducted by the ministry at Second Presbyterian Church, of which he was a faithful member.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 105 River St., Greenville, SC 29601 or Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, P O Box 690, Taylors, SC 29687.

The family will be at One Chanticleer Drive.
