Mrs. LaRue Frady Ridley, 85, widow of Leonard Monroe Ridley, Taylors passed away July 6, 2012, exactly 85 years after her birth.

Born in Macon County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Kelsie Napolean and Eva McCoy Frady. She was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church and Friendship Sunday School Class. Mrs. Ridley was a retired Cosmetologist and prior to that was Secretary of Ridley Mobile Homes.

She was a farm girl at heart and loved gardening, bowling and her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Mrs. Ridley was an avid golfer patriot, a NASCAR and Braves fan.

Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law: Monroe Lanny Ridley, Pelzer; Larry Leonard (Kathi) Ridley, Lincoln, California; Sisters: Eva Coch, Florida; Joan Sullivan, Simpsonville; Brothers: J. R. Frady, Simpsonville; Delano(Carol) Frady, Pickens; Grandchildren: Paula Ridley (Ed) Welter; Lana Ridley (Tim) Dorn; a Great Grandson, Teddy Welter; and a Great Great Grandson, Joseph Michael Welter.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, July 12, 2012 in the Chapel at Mackey Mortuary with Rev. Todd Stewart and Rev. Ralph Hefner officiating. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to McCall Hospice of Greenville, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
