Michael Charles Miller

Michael Charles Miller, 58, formerly of Greenville, passed away on November 6, 2012 at his home in Spartanburg.
Born in Greenville, Michael was the son of Peggy Jane Swafford Miller of Greenville and the late Charles Henry Miller. He graduated from Wade Hampton High School and the University of South Carolina; served in the US Navy; worked at the Hanford Nuclear Facility in Washington State; and was currently employed with Barnes & Noble in Spartanburg.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Pamela Miller (Alan Kolb) of Farmington Hills, MI, and Gail Salais (Richard) of Asheville, NC; aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was loved by many friends and family. He will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to UNICEF at www.unicef.org; or the University of Michigan's Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Fund at www.prechterfund.org
