CW4 Frank Carlton Burrell, (Ret), 75, of Easley, husband of Marga Orth Burrell, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born September 4, 1937 in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Gurley and Ruby Yearwood Burrell. Mr. Burrell was a retired US Army veteran serving twenty-six years and retired from Wangner Systems with fourteen years of service. He loved the outdoors, NASCAR, Formula One Racing and still loved to water ski. Mr. Burrell was a member of Georges Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, he is survived by his daughter, Tina Quinn (Thomas) of Charlotte; sister, Betty Loftis of Easley; and his extended family living in Germany, the Kohls and the Eisenmanns.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. Chuck Traylor officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
