Robert "Terry" Chandler

Belton

Robert "Terry" Chandler, 63, husband of Janice Chandler of 1908 Holiday Dam Rd. died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Bertha "Bert" Owens Chandler of Belton and the late Robert Dawkins Chandler. He was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church. He was a Hot Rod Enthusiast and a simple man who lived off of common sense. Very much loved by family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife of the home are: sons, Lee Chandler and wife Amy of Duncan and Dale Poulton and wife Susan of Belton; daughters, Laurie Lockaby and husband Billy of Fountain Inn and Heather King of Belton; grandchildren, Lucas Lockaby, Owen Chandler, Justin Poulton, Hunter Poulton, James Silas Lay, Sarah Chandler, Grace Chandler, Bella Chandler and Aurora Lay.

Service will be held 12pm Tuesday at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church with Pastor Mike King officiating. Entombment will at Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Monday at Cox Funeral Home.

Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Cedar Shoals Baptist Church.

The family will be at the home of Bert Chandler, 1725 Holiday Dam Rd. Belton.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
