Travelers Rest

Annie Bell Ledbetter Ables, 74, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Homer Harrison and Annie May Lee Ledbetter. Mrs. Ledbetter was the owner of the H & H Washerette in Travelers Rest and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Surviving is her son, Milton "Ed" Ables Jr. and wife Lisa; 4 grandchildren, Tabitha, Rachel, Ethan & Gabriel; a brother, Billy Ledbetter and a sister, Mary Jane Blackwell.

She was predeceased by two sons, Frank Harrison Ables and an infant son and 2 brothers, Joe Lee and Homer Ledbetter, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at Shiloh Baptist Church with burial to follow in Forestville Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 Thursday evening at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at the home of her son, Ed.

We the Anderson family extend our sincere condolences to Ed, Lisa, grandchildren, and friends. Annie was a sweet lady whom we have known for many years. She will be greatly missed. We will continue to pray for the family. God Bless you all.
