Curtis "Curt" Langley Drummond, 77, of Travelers Rest passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Richard Campbell Veterans Home. Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late B.F. and Alice Langley Drummond. Mr. Drummond was a US Army Veteran; he was the owner Esquire Barber Shop in Travelers Rest for 48 years; he was an avid sportsman and he was a member of Clearview Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and he sang in the choir. Surviving is his wife of 49 years Elizabeth "Lib" Stroud Drummond; three sons, Craig Drummond and wife Diane, David Drummond and wife Cynthia, Steve Martin and wife Kathy; 2 brothers, Melvin Drummond and Dennis Drummond; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son Allen Martin and a daughter Lisa Henson. A Memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday afternoon in The Howze Mortuary Chapel. The family will greet friends following the memorial service.
