I have been a patient of the Edwards since I was a child. When Dr. Edwards retired, I became a patient of Dr. Tom. I have known this family forever and am praying for them to find comfort in knowing that Dr. Edwards has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this difficult time. He will be missed.
Our sincere sympathy,

I made my decision to become a dentist at age 9 while being treated by Dr. Tom in his old office on Calhoun St. I knew, even then, that I wanted to be as much like my Dr. Edwards as I could become. He was a wonderful example of a Godly man, a wonderful dentist, a close family friend and my first mentor as a young dentist.
Mama Nell, I will be praying for you and the whole family as you go through this difficult period but I rejoice in the knowledge that Tom is home with his heavenly Father.
Lauretta and I love you dearly,

I worked with Dr Edwards for 8 years - when Dot Hutto, Polly Mitchell and OV Ivester worked there as well. I have lots of memories from those years! That was many years ago and I am still in Dental Hygiene, but treasure those memories from the staff that taught me so much more than just dental hygiene!
