Ada Monroe Gibson Green, 94, widow of Douglas G. Green, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Kate Baxter Gibson.
Mrs. Green was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Jayne G. Adams of Simpsonville; a son, Terry Green and wife Gerri; a sister, Vivian Jones of Fountain Inn; three grandchildren, Doug Adams, Scott Adams, and Jessica O'Neal; eight great grandchildren, Sarah, Laura, Brandon, Jordan and Steven Adams and Jessi, Shelby and Wil Cannon. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Gibson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. at Five Forks Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lilac Cottage for their care for Mrs. Green.
