Jimmie Alexander Duncan

Clemson

Jimmie Alexander Duncan, 79, widower of Sandra Rainey Duncan, died Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James T. and Ruth Elizabeth Bagwell Duncan.

A graduate of Parker High School, Mr. Duncan retired from retail sales. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Pendleton and a previous member of Augusta Heights Baptist Church and Sans Souci Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mandy Duncan McAtee and husband, Glenn, of Clemson; a son, Stephen Duncan and wife, Kim, of Plano, TX; three grandchildren, Caroline and Claire McAtee and Christopher Duncan; and two sisters, Janie Cloninger and Patricia Stephens.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hulon Duncan.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 1:15 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Augusta Heights Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
