Clarence Arflin


William Clarence Arflin, 86, husband of Sedalia Lounell Cooley Arflin, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014.

Born in Homer, GA, he was the son of the late Polk Arflin, Sr. and Jane Sellers Arflin.

Mr. Arflin was a US Army World War II veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a member of West Gantt First Baptist Church.

Surviving are two children, Julia Barna and husband Rick, of Fayetteville, GA and Ricky Arflin and his fiancée Kristi Shaw of Fountain Inn; two grandchildren, Heather and Christopher Arflin; and a brother, Polk Arflin, Jr. of Belton, SC. He was preceded in death by siblings, Ora Bell Hamilton, Plumer Arflin, Broadus Arflin, and Corine Henderson.

Visitaiton will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at West Gantt First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
