Raymond H. Stack

Greenville

Raymond H. Stack, 81, of Greenville, husband of Dorothy Stack, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

Born in Allendale County, he was a son of the late Herbert Addison and Orrie Eleazer Stack.

Raymond was an active member of Berea First Baptist Church, the Berea Lions Club, and attended North Greenville University. He also served as a Sergeant in the United States National Guard, Easley, and was an avid Clemson football fan. He had a big heart and he loved people.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 63 years, are three sons, Raymond Hoaglend Stack, Jr. (Betty), Randy Steven Stack (Kathy), and Anthony Stewart Stack (Robin); eight grandchildren, Chip, Matthew, Brittany, Anthony II, Lauren, Cory, Steven II, and Aubrey Stack; and two great grandchildren, Vivian and M.J. Stack.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Williams, Madge Harter, Rita Warren, and Joan Stack; and a brother, Joe Stack.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church, with visitation prior from 1:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

Memorials may be sent to Berea First Baptist Church, 529 Farrs Bridge Rd., Greenville, SC 29617.

Raymond
was a very good man love me and help me lots time and he teach me to drawing arts and he come visit my school and explain to kids what he do at work .when I was in Boy Scout troop 238 . He bring a boxes of Army food like a packs of brown bags . He was so. Cool to me . I do remember been play with Randy stack and Anthony stack when was a kids . Uncle Raymond come back to my school in NC to help fix the computer Man repair . His and my family went on camping trip in Sc lake when uncle Raymond bring his boat and me and mArk Skeen love ride boat and fishing with him . He was a very sweet man . Raymond thank you for every things you have did for me . Raymond I will never forget you .
