Bill Layman was the gentle voice of wisdom and love for our family in our darkest hour. His son Scott was in the hospital at the same time as my Mom and in his own time of need, he reached out and counseled us and prayed with us. We shared our hope and we shared our loss. I will never forget his faith, his grace, his friendship. A truly remarkable man.

My sincerest sympathies are sent to the Layman families. Mr. Bill will be remembered by everyone who knew him for his kind and gentle soul. He always had a smile on his face. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Although sad to see him leave us, I am also rejoicing that he is no doubt celebrating in Heaven with his beloved wife, together again forever.
