Donald Cleveland Gossett

Greer

Donald Cleveland Gossett, 80, of Greer, husband of Dorothy Ducar Gossett died June 13, 2014.

Born in Woodruff, he was the son of the late Daniel Cleveland and Janey Lala Wofford Gossett.

He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Don graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor's Degree, and he was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Don was a loving husband, father and Papa.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 60 years are a daughter, Mary Beth Gossett of Brevard, NC, a grandson, Harrison Graham Ray, and a brother, Toy Charles Gossett of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Wofford Gossett.

Visitation will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the Downtown Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
