Angelo Servidio Obituary

ANGELO SERVIDIO of Greenwich, passed away on March 17, 2005 at the Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home, at the age of 89. He was born March 3, 1916 in Greenwich to the late Natale and Maria Servidio. He was raised and educated in Greenwich. Angelo served in the U.S. Army for 15 years, serving in the Pacific and Guadalcanal during WWII and was a disabled American Veteran. He was an avid golfer and baseball player. He is survived by his wife Angelina (Bottino) Servidio, sons Arthur and Michael Servidio of Norwalk, and a daughter Anna Abbott of Stamford. Also surviving him are his grandchildren Christina and Christopher Abbott, a brother Joseph Servidio of Cos Cob, and a sister Rose Swaitowiscz of Wethersfield, CT. A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 19, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich. Castiglione Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
