Vaccarezza, Bruno
Bruno Vaccarezza, 19, of Cos Cob, perished on September 1st , 2013. Born on December 31st, 1993 to Carla and Vittorio Vaccarezza, Bruno was a resident of Cos Cob, Connecticut.
Those who knew Bruno describe him a respectful young man that was eager to help others and who always had a big toothy grin on his face. Bruno was interested in understanding how cars and other machines worked. He enjoyed helping friends with their cars in his spare time as well as maintaining his pride and joy, "the Batmobile."
Bruno was studying automotive technology at Porter and Chester Institute at the time of his death. Even as a child, Bruno was very hands-on, building skateboard ramps with friends and working on a go-kart.
Bruno leaves behind his parents, an older sister, Gia Vaccarezza, and an older brother, Victor Vaccarezza, as well as his loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 13th at Saint Catherine of Siena in Riverside. Bruno's parents ask that instead of flowers, donations be made to a fund at Cos Cob Elementary School. Burial will be private. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
