George Lysle Obituary
George Lysle, IV., born February 25, 1938, in Bronxville, New York and passed away March 22, 2015 in Jupiter, Florida.
During his career, after a brief tenure on Wall Street, he decided to take on the challenge of managing the careers of the most notable names in the auto racing industry at his friend, Mark McCormack's company IMG. Additionally he worked for ABC sports as an announcer for many car races over the years. He was also the owner of the Lock Stock and Barrel Restaurant in Darien, CT.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Lysle, of New York, NY his step-daughter, Samantha Lowe, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine and his sister, Ruth Anne Brinker and her four children.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at 1 PM, St. Marks Episcopal Church, 3395 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens.
There will also be a service at the Scarsdale Presbyterian Church, in Scarsdale, NY on Tuesday , March 31 at 11am.

George and I were close friends from 16 on. He was a very active person, and very smart. He and I, and several others, we were close to, such as Peter Revson, had great fun together over the years.
A very unique and interesting man.
