George and I were close friends from 16 on. He was a very active person, and very smart. He and I, and several others, we were close to, such as Peter Revson, had great fun together over the years.
A very unique and interesting man.
So long George.

George was a pleasure to work for. Always fair, a dry sense of humor and treated people the way he wanted to be treated
