Andrews, Kathleen
Kathleen Erb Andrews, 76, of South Windsor, loving wife of Frederick C. Andrews; passed away peacefully at home Friday, December 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born December 14, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter to the late Edward G. and Caroyl (McKee) Erb. Kathleen was employed as assistant manager for Ledglets Cottage Colony, Bermuda from 1955-60, and later as assistant clerk for the State of Connecticut Legislature - Energy and Public Utilities Committee and Commerce Committee from 1981-94. She was also a member of the South Windsor Republican Party Town Committee. In addition to her husband Frederick, Kathleen is survived by her son Alan L. Andrews and his wife, Janice of East Windsor, CT; step-daughters Allison Boldridge and her husband, David of Oswego, IL; Jennifer Diederich of Collinsville, CT; and step-son Frederick Andrews Jr. of Springfield, MA. She also leaves her brother E. Alan Erb of St. Simons Island, GA; and grandchildren Alana and Jenna Andrews of East Windsor, CT; Drew and Clifford Boldridge of Oswego, IL; and Mitchel Andrews of Springfield, MA. A memorial service for Kathleen will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00AM at Wapping Community Church, 1790 Ellington Rd., South Windsor, CT. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's name to Visiting Nurses & Health Services of Connecticut, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.
