Margaret was known for her jovial personality, her beautiful smile and her lilting Scottish accent. She was a parishioner for many years at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Colchester. Prior to living in Vermont, Margaret was a resident of Fairfield, CT and was a parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was a member of the Stamford, CT Highland Kiltie Band, and judged several regional highland dancing competitions as a member of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing.
Margaret is survived by three children, Margaret "Peggy" A. Marshall and Steven Petriella of Madison, CT, Julie C. Marshall and Bill Wetherbee of Colchester, and John C. Marshall of Colchester; one grandson, Joseph Albert Petriella of Madison, CT; her sister, Veronica Regan of Derby, CT; her brother, Patrick McAllister and his wife, Anita of Norwalk, CT; in-laws, Jean McAllister and Walter Merritt; and several nieces and nephews.
