Lucifora Sr, Louis
Louis Lucifora Sr., 86, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Stamford Hospital, on Sunday, November 4, 2012. A lifelong resident of Stamford, Born on August 29, 1926 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Matthew and Dora Lucifora. After High School Louis entered the United States Navy where he served during WWII and practiced as a dental assistant. He owned and operated Stamford Opticians as well as New Canaan Opticians for many years. Louis was also a lifetime member of the Innis Arden Golf Club in Old Greenwich. Louis is survived by his loving children. A daughter Cynthia M. Lucifora, his son Louis Lucifora, Jr., and his wife Connie all of Stamford. His grandsons Louis Lucifora III, of CA. and Sean Frangione of Stamford. Besides his parents Louis is predeceased by a sister Josephine Lucifora. Family and Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902 on Thursday, November 8th, 2012 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. A prayer service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the funeral home and then process for interment at the St. John's Cemetery, Darien CT.
