Mildred Pyne Lowthert

MILDRED PYNE LOWTHERT - 99, died on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Van Duyn Home in Syracuse, NY. She was born October 8, 1907 in Glen Loch, PA to Edward and Melissa Balcom Pyne. Mrs. Lowthert lived in Greenwich, CT for 75 years before moving to Syracuse. She was a member of Diamond Hill United Methodist Church. During her lifetime she was active in a number of church organizations, New York Genealogical Society and Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her sons Thomas and Bruce (Patricia) Lowthert of Greenwich and a daughter Jane Maher Proper of Syracuse; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1985. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Castiglione Funeral Home; 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, CT. Funeral service will be 11AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Diamond Hill United Methodist Church, Cos Cob. Interment will follow at Middle Patent Rural Cemetery, Banksville, NY.
