(August 13, 1935 - January 29, 2013) "Jim/Chief Brown" James A Brown was born and raised in Tracy City, Tennessee. As a young man he joined the U.S. Navy to serve his country, seek adventure and see the world. From his very first port visit to Guam in 1962, he knew he found his future home... Mass of Intention is being offered at Nuestra Senora de la Paz y Buen Viaje (Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey) Catholic Church in Chalan Pago. Mass schedule is as follows: Friday, February 1, 2013 at 6:00pm; Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 5:30pm; Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 6:30am and 10:00am; and on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 6:00pm. Last respects for James will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Church, beginning at 9:00am anf concluding at 12:00pm. Mass for Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00pm. Interment Services will follow at the Veterans Cemetery in Piti, where we will bid him farewell and a peaceful rest.
