Lynn Harvey Lott

July 23, 1941 - Feb. 16, 2015 Lynn Harvey Lott, "Paw Paw", peacefully transitioned into the arms of his Heavenly Father surrounded by family at his home, February 16, 2015. He was born July 23, 1941 to Harvey Lott and Merle Saucier in Gulfport, Mississippi. Lynn attended school in Wiggins, MS and graduated from Wiggins High School in 1959. Lynn earned an associate's degree from Perk Junior College and attended William Carey College and Mississippi State University. Lynn's life long passion for aviation began when he joined the Navy in 1963 where he trained as a jet fighter pilot. Lynn married the love of his life, Camille Wesson of Wiggins in January 1967. They settled in Pascagoula, Mississippi where Lynn started his successful, 30-year career as a chemist in the refinery at Chevron U.S.A. Lynn enjoyed all things that God created, specifically being on the water, boating, fishing, and scuba diving. In his retirement, Lynn enjoyed hunting, collecting, and shooting firearms of all types. Lynn and Camille are members of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula where they were active, in years past, in the church choir and orchestra because of his love for music. He is preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife Camille, brother Steve & Judy Lott of Vancleave, Mississippi. Children Michele and John Lewis of Poplarville, Tamara and Joseph Davidson of New Orleans, Louisiana and Jeff and Pam Lott of Necaise. Grandchildren; Samuel Caleb Lott, Micah, Jonathon, and Gabrielle Lewis. Stanley and Amy Davidson. Damion and Holly Cuevas, Blake McIver, Chase and Courtney McIver, and Austin Buchanan. Great-grandchildren: Elliott Lott, Merit and Myla Cuevas, Kenleigh, Kennady, and Baby McIver and many other extended family members who loved PawPaw. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. The funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
