Barbara Beasley Schoepflin met her Lord on Aug. 28, 2013 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Helen Beasley, her sister Helen, and her grandson Christopher.

She influenced the lives of countless children in a positive manner.

BZ married her husband Ronald Schoepflin in 1992 in Greeley, CO. They were sweethearts in high school at Cushing Academy in 1948-49 and met again in 1991. She moved to Green Valley in 1994. She spent many years in Fullerton, CA.

She is survived by her husband Ronald J. Schoepflin of Green Valley, AZ; two daughters, Susan Staples of Seattle, WA, and Sandra Staples of Lodi, CA; grandson Mateo Rodriguez (wife Kati); great grandson Gabriel of New Orleans, LA; stepsons Stephen Schoepflin (wife Joan) of Arvada, CO and Keith Schoepflin (wife Mari Nakada) and twins Kimi and Asher Schoepflin of Manitou Springs, CO.

Beloved BZ leaves a beautiful butterfly in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Heaven is sure to be a better place with her presence. And the Lord has met her with open arms.
