Carollee Robertson passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Green Valley, Ariz., at the age of 68. She was born June 18, 1944, in Tacoma, Wash., where she resided most of her life. She was the youngest of Dewey and Clarice Hommel's four children, and is survived by siblings Patricia McDougall, William Hommel, and Sharon Ballman. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Richard Robertson. She leaves behind three children: Monica Robertson (Neil Coventry), Kristen Robertson, and Ryan Robertson (Andrea); and four grandchildren: Jack, Zahra, Rowan, and Leo.

Her loss is also deeply felt by her many dear friends, with whom she celebrated, consoled, laughed, and shared many treasured moments in her life.

Carollee was many things to many people, loving sister, devoted wife, loyal friend, and caring mother. But her favorite role was that of grandmother. Known as Grammy and Numna to her four grandchildren, she relished every moment she spent with them, kept track of their milestones, and celebrated their achievements. They were the light of her life.

Carollee, Mom, Numna, Grammy, you have taken a piece of us with you, and no one will ever take your place in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Carollee at Esperanza Estates "" Ramada on Thursday, May 9th from 4-6 p.m.
