to Oct. 9, 2012

Diana left this world to meet our Lord at the age of 69 after a long illness. Born in Spring Valley, Minn., Diana moved to Minneapolis after high school. She married James W. (Jim) LaFavor on May 2, 1970. They spent many wonderful years in the greater Twin Cities area, moving to Green Valley, Ariz., as snowbirds 11 years ago and permanently in 2008. Diana worked as a hairdresser, assistant cashier and then in bank accounting for many years and also ran a successful printing company, General Impressions, Inc., with Jim in Edina, Minn.

Diana enjoyed spending time with her horses, pets and flowers, watching birds and participating in the Republican nominating process. Since moving to Green Valley, Diana has volunteered with Valley Presbyterian Church through the Pastoral Care Committee, visitation, serving meals and cashiering at the annual patio sale, and she took several pottery classes. Diana loved communion and was confident that she would meet her Lord in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Virginia Leutink, of Spring Valley, Minn., and her sister Phyllis. Along with her loving husband Jim, Diana is survived by their children James A. (Beda) LaFavor of Williston, N.D., Norry Robison of Benson, Ariz., Cindy (Thomas) Hager of San Diego, Calif., and Russel Johnson of Hibbing, Minn.; brothers David (Shirley) Bailey of Rochester, Minn., and Dick Bailey of Cannon Falls, Minn.; an aunt, Gloria (Larry) Strain, of Cannon Falls, Minn.; grandchildren Sarah, Eliel and Nathan LaFavor, Jessica Robison and Haley (Ryan) Mason, Whitney, Tyler, Amanda and Aaron Hager; and a great-grandson Aiden Lee Mason; as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

A memorial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Valley Presbyterian Church Spiritual Life Center in Green Valley, Ariz. Interment will be at the Valley Presbyterian Church Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to the International Myeloma Foundation.
