Virginia Zenobi, age 80, was taken to heaven by God on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
Born Jan. 12, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas, through her years and her love for ballet she became a dancer on Broadway. Some of the productions she performed in included "Paint Your Wagon," "Guys and Dolls," "Hazel Flagg" and "Wish You Were Here."
During a show in Rome, Italy she met her late husband, the love of her life, Sergio Zenobi. She quit Broadway and resided in Rome for a number of years after which she returned to America and began a long career with the County of Santa Clara in California. There she retired in 1996 to enjoy the good life.
In 2003 she moved to Green Valley where she continued her enjoyment of retired life. To keep her love for dancing she was involved with the Tap Dancers and the Follies of Green Valley.
She is survived by her brother Thomas O. Hurst IV; son Sergio Zenobi, Jr; daughter Elizabeth (Lisa) Dow and granddaughter Jessica Zenobi. She was much beloved by all her family and friends. Mom, we love you with all our hearts and will miss you always. Keep on dancing in the stars!
