CALLAHAN, Pauline age 88, of Franklin went home to with her Lord surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born December 24, 1923 in Blackie, KY to Jack and Maggie (Calhoun) South. Pauline was a member of Towne Blvd and was a homemaker. Church of God. She was an avid bingo player, liked crocheting, made ceramics, liked to can fresh vegetables and enjoyed her cats. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Turner Callahan; sister, Audrey Dickerson. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Paulette (David) Taylor of Franklin; son, Stephen Callahan of Middletown; grandchildren, Brian (Rochelle) Taylor, Joshua (Becki) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Micah Lynn Taylor, Matt Scott Taylor, Jaxon Taylor; sister, Mary McIntosh of Middletown and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor J.B. Walters officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Paulette, Steven, and Family I am so sorry to read of Paulines passing, she was always wearing a smile and one of my favorite cousins though I haven't seen her in years. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you and all who knew her.

Steve & Pauletta, am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Although I didn't know her well, I remember that she was very kind, happy and was always known as 'a cool mom' in our neighborhood while we were all growing up.Please know that you & your families are in my prayers & thoughts.

Steve and Pauletta, So sad to read of the loss of your mom. Flooded with memories of her and the great times we had as neighbors for all those yrs. Thoughts and prayers are with you as you go thru the motions in the next days. Love to you both as well as your families.
