CHANDLER, Maude* - Morgan Twp  
News Death Notice CHANDLER, Maude Age 87, of Morgan Township, formerly of Ross, Ohio, passed away April 24, 2015 at Drake Hospice. She was born on June 17, 1928 in Barbourville, Kentucky, the daughter of Henry and Pearl (Jackson) Stamper. She was educated in the Knox County, Kentucky schools and has lived in the Morgan Township area for the last 30 years. She is survived by three children; Richard (Theresa) King, Deborah Henson, and Charles Byrd; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers and two sisters. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 10AM until time of service at 12 Noon at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio 45014 with burial following in New London Cemetery. CRASE, Carman* - Lebanon  
News Death Notice CRASE, Carman Age 82 of Lebanon passed peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Lebanon Country Manor. Born May 27, 1932 in Belknap, Kentucky, Carman was the son of Leburn and Mabel (Perkins) Crase and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Carman served his country proudly in the U.S. Army (stationed in Germany) and was a retired Corrections Officer from LCI and WCI. Later in his working years, Carman worked for Bethesda North Hospital Security. Carman was a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church of God, South Lebanon. Carman enjoyed gun collecting and target practice, going to flea markets and yard sales and flower gardening. Preceded in death by his parents; Carman leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years Ruby (Bishop) Crase of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Cathy (Tom) Pancero of Cincinnati, Ohio and grandson Ezra Lane. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 11am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Pastor Clay Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio. www.stinekilburnfuneralhome.com

COCHRAN, Mary Laurine (Rena)* - Lebanon  
News Death Notice COCHRAN, Mary Laurine "Rena" 94, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community in Lebanon OH, after a prolonged struggle with Alzheimer's. Eldest daughter of John M. and Elvira (nee Beedle) Cochran, Rena was born August 8, 1920 in Lebanon, OH. Ms. Cochran had many fond memories of growing up on the farm, and enjoyed reminiscing about those times. Graduating from Lebanon High School in 1938, Rena attained her R.N. degree from Deaconess Hospital in in 1941. Career highlights include working as head nurse of the OB department at Vanderbilt University, and 31 years as supervisor and Director of Maternal, Perinatal and Gynecological Nursing at Cincinnati General Hospital. Rena was preceded in death by parents John M. and Elvira (nee Beedle) Cochran; two brothers, E. James Cochran and Donald M. Cochran; and nephew David M. Cochran. She is survived by sister, Jean Pelz (nee Cochran) of Lebanon, OH; two sisters-in-law, Reva Cochran (nee Campbell) of Lebanon, OH, and Shirley Sue Cochran (nee Schmidt) of Lancaster, OH; three nieces and five nephews; and many great-nieces and grand-nephews. She loved her many nieces and nephews, and their children, and often took them to the opera, hoping to instill in them some culture. She provided Thanksgiving dinner every year as long as she was able, and enjoyed visiting New England, reading, and her unsurpassed collection of ceramic birds. The family thanks the staff at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community, and the caring Otterbein-Lebanon Hospice staff, who treated her like a family member. The outstanding level of care, love and attention made Rena's last day's peaceful ones. Visitation, Wednesday April 15th from 10-11 AM with funeral service that immediately followed, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. COFFMAN, Frederick E.* - Middletown  
News Death Notice COFFMAN, Frederick E. 87, of Middletown, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Germantown on August 25, 1927 to parents Earl and Louella (Marshall) Coffman. Fred was the owner of Fred's Heating & Cooling. He served as an Elder in the Countryside Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a faithful Jehovah's Witness since his dedication on December 7, 1957. Mr. Coffman is survived by his daughters, Cathyleen (John) Fischer, Becky Williams & Jennifer (Andy) Leis; daughter-in-law, Gretchen Coffman; brother, John (Carol) Coffman; grandchildren, Todd (Beth) Coffman, Tony (Annie) Parrott, Kipp (Theresa) Coffman, Christy (Mike) Aldred, Jeff (DeAnn) Coffman, Jairus Fischer, Jansen Fischer, Jedd (Ashley) Coffman, Calvin Fischer, Alex (Makenna) Leis & Evan (Angelique) Leis; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Charlotte Irene Coffman; 2nd wife, Claudia J. Coffman; son, Mark Coffman; son-in-law, Willis Williams; parents; sisters, Barbara Ridenour & Dorotha Gensler; and grandchild, Jay Fischer. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2748 Pennyroyal Rd., Miamisburg with Speaker Andy Leis officiating. CROSBY, C. Wade* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice CROSBY, C. Wade Age 67 passed away on Friday April 17, 2015. He was born September 17, 1947 in Bradenton, FL the son of the late Carl and Lillian (DeLouch) Crosby. Wade spent his life in the Ministry. He loved his Savior and took no greater delight in teaching God's Word. He was the head Pastor at Buckwheat Rd First Church of God in Milford, OH and then at Northside Chapel First Church of God in Camden, OH. On November 1, 1983 in Gatlinburg, TN he married the love of his life Debra Jean Buchholz. He is survived by his wife Debra Jean Crosby; four beautiful children Kimberly (Paul) Baker, Nathaniel (Christi) Crosby, Emily Crosby, and Sarah (Kenneth) Whisman; eleven grandchildren Grace, Annalise, Aidan, Lillian, Brittni, John Paul, Klara, Lucille Wade, Eleonora, Vincent, and Troy. Pastor Crosby was preceded in death by his beautiful grandchild Juliet Baker. He is also survived by numerous other family and close friends. Visitation will be held at Winton Rd First Church of God 6200 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014 on Monday April 20, 2015 from 11:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM with Pastor Howard Elliot and Pastor Brian Buriff officiating.
