News Death Notice ROARK (Hoffmann), Joann E. Age 81, a resident of Hamilton, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. She was born in Hamilton, the daughter of Bernard and Virginia (Duffy) Hoffmann. Joann was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and had attended business college. She had been employed at Citizens Bank and retired from Kroger after many years of service. Survived by her daughters, Lynne (James) Carlson and Shari Davish; an estranged son, Gary L. Davish Jr., who she always loved; grandchildren, James Jr., Amanda, Paige, Sara, Bailee, Melissa and Susan; five great-grandchildren; a special brother-in-law, Eugne Hulshult and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, Donald Roark; grandson, Jesse Michael Scudder; many brothers, sisters, and other family members. Prayer service will be 9:15 AM Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Colligan funeral Home followed at 10:00 AM by a Funeral! Service at St. Peter In Chains Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. REIFF, Mabel L.* - Ross  
News Death Notice REIFF, Mabel L. Age 89, of Ross, Ohio, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was born on September 12, 1926 in Hamilton, Ohio to George and Eva (Hartnett) Noble. She was educated in Hamilton City Schools. She attended school to train as a beautician. On October 25, 1946, she married Melvin C. Reiff- they celebrated 64 years of marriage. Mabel worked as a beautician and owned Reiff's Beauty Shop in Hamilton. Since retirement, Mabel spent her time with family and friends. Mel and Mabel lived in Ross, Ohio before moving to Westover Retirement Community where she made many friends. Mabel is survived by one sister, Mary "Peggy" Kinch; six grandchildren: Kellie (Dean) Peterson, Sharidon (Jason) Wolz, Donald "Deuce" (Tracy) Monds, Jackie (TJ) Heatherly, Vickie (Gavin) Turner and Stephen (Sandy) Butler; eleven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary McGee; nephews, Greg Kinch, Rick McGee, David McGee; nieces Donna Schneider, Joyce Drake, Kihm Blackwell and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; one daughter, Cheryl "Shari" (Don) Monds; one son, Melvin "Rocky" Reiff II, and one granddaughter, Mindy Reiff Elliot. A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery for family.
