News Death Notice

SCHWAB, Jr. Charles M. "Chuck" age 77 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on May 31, 1935, and was raised by his devoted aunt Margaret A. Schwab. Charles was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1976. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #1069, lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, member FOPA Lodge #21 Butler County Sherriff's Deputies Association, and Queen of Peace Catholic Church. On June 3, 1961 at St. Mary's in St. Clairsville, Ohio he married Dolores J. Lokosky, and they were happily married for 51 years. He is survived by his wife, Dolores J. Schwab of Hamilton; three sons, Robert E. (Marie) Schwab of Fairfield, Michael J. (Debra) Schwab of Ross, and David A. (Michele) Schwab of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Michelle M. Schwab, Monica M. Schwab, Alex M. Schwab, and Jennifer E. Schwab; and two close cousins, Mary Longheir of Masillon,OH, and Edward Schwab of Brewster, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Schwab; and his devoted aunt, Margaret A. Schwab. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00 am with Fr. Ron Combs, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until 11am.
