News Death Notice

ALEXANDER, Edgar "Jack" 95, of Franklin passed away Thursday March 7, 2013 at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. Jack was born in Norborne, Missouri the son of James and Daisy (Summers) Alexander. Jack was a carpenter working in construction or home renovation and was known to many as "Jack of all Trades". He formerly worked at the Maxwell Paper Co, Wright Patterson A.F.B. as a Senior Aircraft Mechanic, and later developed an innovative process in refurbishing motion picture movie screens. Jack also retired from Rikes at age 62 where he worked as a carpenter, he enjoyed ushering (26 years) at St Mary Church, a Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Franklin. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Josephine and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Jo Csizma, a son, John R. (Betty) Alexander and a grand-daughter, Courtney Cszima along with several loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday 5 - 8 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church in Norborne, Mo on Friday March 15, 2013. Burial will be next to his beloved wife, Josephine in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
