News Death Notice

MULLINS, Jack R. age 78, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Atrium Medical Center where he had been a patient for one week. He was born January 9, 1936 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, and moved to Middletown in 1943. He was a member of the National Guard for eight years. Jack was a tool and die maker for Square D in Middletown for 38 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, vegetable gardening and cooking for his family. Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Mary Lou (Gillum) Mullins; one son, Randall Lee Mullins in 2013; two sisters, Maxine Null and Carol Henry; and two brothers, Glen Mullins and Joe Mullins. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loretta C. Mullins; one son, Bradley S. Mullins, wife Beth; one daughter-in-law, Vicki Mullins; three grandsons, Jacob Mullins, Josh Martin, wife Heather, Jeremy Moses, wife Nichole; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Logan and Gracie Martin, Keystan, Eva and Colton Moses; one sister, Patricia Potter, husband Samuel; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Woodside Cemetery Chapel, Middletown, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel.
