PYLES, James Claude age 69, of Carlisle, OH; passed away on Friday December 28, 2012 at his residence. James was born in Anderson County, TN on May 26, 1943 to Ruben and Pearl (Stooksbury) Pyles. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, retired from General Motors following 30 years of service. James was preceded in death by his parents, beloved sister Marilyn Pyles, and 2 brothers Delton and Marvin Pyles, and his ex-wife Diane Pyles. Jim was well known for his art work, kindness to others, and his devotion to his family, especially his grandchildren Cheyenne and Tanner. He will be missed by many and was loved by all. Jim is survived by a daughter Christina (Pyles) Brown and her husband Les, 2 brothers Kenneth and Donnie Pyles, and a sister Lola Stooksbury and their families; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be 7pm Wednesday January 2, 2013 at the Vineyard Community Church 4900 State Route 123 Franklin, OH with Rev. Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6pm until the time of the service at the church.
