News Death Notice

JOHNSON, Leonard Homer "RoHo" age 75 of Lebanon passed peacefully Friday, April 18, 2014 at Lebanon Country Manor. Born October 29, 1938 in Jackson, Kentucky, Homer was the son of Eldridge and Elvira (Terry) Johnson and was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville where he worked in production after 42 years of service. Homer was a member of the Morrow Masonic Lodge and the Dayton Classic Car Club. Homer was best known for his award winning 1957 Chevy "RoHo" that has been featured in many classic car magazines. Preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law Ray Powell; Homer leaves behind his loving wife of 19 years Evelyne (Pethuyne) Johnson of Lebanon; step-son Michael Rasky of North Carolina, daughters Lindsey (Ryan) Powell of Lebanon and Tina (Steven) Payne of Alaska; mother Elvira Johnson of Maineville; brothers Abe (Shirley) Johnson of Oxford, Donald (Belinda) Johnson of Morrow, Joe (Sue) Johnson of South Lebanon and Doug Johnson of Mason; sister Faye Powell of Maineville; grandchildren Dallas Powell and Lilly and Sophia Payne and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening April 23, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.
