News Death Notice

THOMPSON, Jr., Norman L. "Rocky" "Greenbaum" passed away March 31, 2014 at the age of 61. He was born in Hamilton Ohio to the late Norman Sr. and Peggy Motzer. Norman was married to Thersa Camp for 20 years and is survived by his son Josh Thompson; daughters Natasha Vauter and Destiny (Rob) Griffin; brothers Rick (Barb) Thompson and Kevin (Crystal) Evans; grandchildren Bailey, Seth, Peyton and Lexi. He will also be deeply missed by the children from Norman Thompson Sr. side of the family; Danny (Ginger) Brock, Tammy (Wayne) Dunaway, Cindy (Doug) Scott and Sunny James as well as Jim Vauter and many loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark Burns and Dwana Wagers. Norman enjoyed fishing, cooking, the Cleveland Browns and the smell of diesel fuel. He was a truck driver for SOS for 23 years, Allan Woods for 10 years, Eversole for 4 years and finished his career with Watson Gravel in Ross, Ohio. The family would like to thank Dr. Paula Weisenberger, her staff and the staff at Mercy South Hospital for their love and care. Memorial donations may be made to the at www.cancer .org. Visitation will be 4pm to 7pm Thursday April 3, 2014 at the Ivey Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Rd. Fairfield Twp. Ohio. Funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 7pm.
