News Death Notice

HAMPTON, Penny Suellen age 65 of Middletown, Ohio, passed away at Kensington Place with her family by her side. She was born September 16, 1947 in Middletown, Ohio. Penny was employed at Otterbein Nursing Home in Lebanon, Ohio where she helped and cared for others for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing puzzles, quilting, camping, crafting, playing the piano and was a collector of many things. She was a caring and loving mom, gram, sister, aunt and friend. Preceding her in death were her parents D.O. Fisher and Maxine (Roshon) Fisher. Penny is survived by three children, Donald "Donnie" Lee Melton, Jr., Heidi S. Melton and (fiancé, Walter Rich), and Holly L. Melton; four grandchildren, Christopher "Crispy" (wife, Kelly) Tussey, McKenzie "Allymac" Tussey, Macey Holleman and Cameron Holleman; six great grandchildren; three brothers, James (Ruby) Fisher, D.O. (Evalee) Fisher III, and John Fisher; a sister, Judy Gentry; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. She will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
