HIBBARD, Rosa B. (Rogers) age 93 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She was born in Manchester, KY on May 19, 1919 to Luther and Daisy (Buttery) Rogers. She attended school in Clay Co., KY. On July 17, 1937 in Manchester, KY she was united in marriage to Carlo Hibbard, who preceded her in death in 1970. Rose and Carlo moved to Ohio, and she has resided in Hamilton over sixty-five years. Rose had a strong work ethic and was employed at several places, retiring from the Hueston Woods Lodge. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. The greatest joy of her life was her sons, and she was delighted in spending time with them and their families. She is survived by 7 sons, John (Joan) Hibbard, Everett (Merrill) Hibbard, Larry (Micki) Hibbard, Roy (Bonnie) Hibbard, Billy (Karen) Hibbard, Luke (Nancy) Hibbard, and Daryl (Tammy) Hibbard; a daughter-in-law, Aileen Hibbard; a brother, Arnold Rogers; and 3 sisters, Ruth Robinson, Dorothy (Wayne) Holcomb, and Berneda (Charlie) Hurley; 18 Grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends; and extended family members, Charles and Carol Reid. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Ronald Hibbard; 6 brothers, John, Lawrence, Dewey, Jimmie, Edward, and Herbert Rogers; and 4 sisters, Maxey Sawyer, Margaret Anglin, Viola Goos, and Lucy Garrett. Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jack Young officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
