News Death Notice

SNODDERLY, Wanda Adeline 85 of Oxford, Ohio past away Friday, July 6, 2012, at her residence. Wanda was born January 19, 1927 in Hamilton, Oh to Elijah and Rella Delph Wagers. She attended schools Union County. On July 19, 1952 she married Henry "Hank" Snodderly in Newport, Kentucky. She was a telephone operator for 5 years in College Corner, Ohio. Wanda was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Oxford Chapter #225. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and was a great caretaker of her family. Wanda is survived by her four daughters and their spouses: Barbara Dudley and John; Melissa Hornsby and Rocky; Kimberly Butler. All of Oxford, Ohio and Diana Snodderly of Kettering, Ohio; Seven grandchildren: Sarah Vaughn, Justin Dudley, Bryan Butler, Melissa Asbury, Leslie Asbury, Jarrad Sizemore and Allison Sizemore; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind very dear friends Tom and Mariam Gardner of Cincinnati, and Chris Sizemore of Oxford. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Baker Chapel, College Corner, OH with John Witt, minister officiating and Eastern Star service performed by the Oxford Chapter #225. Interment will follow in College Corner Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital in memory of Jimmy Gardner.
