HYDE, Lloyd ''Hub'' Age 83 of Hamilton passed away in Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center, Danville, Indiana on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 11:50AM. He was born in Manchester, Kentucky on March 13, 1923, the son of Benjamin and Addie (Gregory) Hyde. Hub was a charter member of the Hamilton West Baptist Church; a Veteran of WW11 with the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946; a member of the Syrian Shrine Temple; Elks Lodge #93; the Grand Council Royal Arch and Select Masons of Ohio; Lodge #794 F&AM Grand Lodge of Manchester, Kentucky; Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was the owner-operator with his son, Mick of Hyde's Restaurant for the last sixty years. On July 12, 1950 in Liberty, Indiana, he was married to Mary Tabor. He is survived by his wife Mary Hyde of Hamilton; two sons, Mick and his wife, Debbie Hyde of Hamilton and Jeff and his wife Monica Hyde of Avon, Indiana; one brother, Arnold Hyde of London, Kentucky; one sister, Mary Jean Flinn of Niceville, Florida; four grandchildren, Ashley (Robert) Tuley, Amy (Nathan) Klaiber, J. P. Hyde and Olivia Hyde; three great-grandchildren, Seth, Elise and Brennan. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James, Howard, Ernest and Roy and one sister, Faye Bundy. Funeral services will be held at the Hamilton West Baptist Church, 1050 Northwest Washington Blvd. on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 1PM with Rev. David Williams, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM. In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to the Hamilton West Baptist Church or charity on donors choice.
