News Death Notice

PAYNTER, Jr., Ray 85, of Trenton passed on January 26, 2013. He is loved by many and always will be. He was born July 9, 1927, in Middletown, Ohio to the parents Ray Paynter, Sr. and Ruth (Barkley) Paynter. Ray served in the armed services, was a life member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 330 and D.A.V. He worked for Armco Steel for 45 years, was a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame, avid golfer and softball player. Ray never turned down a game of cards or any fun activity with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters Regina (Kenneth) Hollon, Joni (Lee) Bachelor, Terri (Tim Kidd) Johnson, Micki (David) Keith, sister, Suzanne (Carl) Amatulli, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Paynter; and a sister, Gerri Donahoe. Services will be held at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29th at 2:00 PM with visitation from Noon until service time. Interment will follow immediately at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
