News Death Notice

FISHER, Robert A. age 77, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born February 14, 1935 in Middletown, Ohio, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict receiving an honorable discharge. Robert was employed as a truck driver for the Mason Dixon Truck Lines for 18 years. He was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 218, a member of the D.A.V. and the Germantown Fraternal Order of Eagles. Preceding him in death were his parents, David "Scotty" and Harriett (Campbell) Fisher. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Fisher; two daughters, Vicki (Darryl) Lawson and Cheri Fisher; three grandchildren, Kelly (Brent) Dalton, Nicole (Jason) Brown, and Nathan (Jessica) Lawson; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (Ina) Fisher and Tim (Donna) Leichty; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Brian Blevins officiating. Interment will be at Germantown Union Cemetery, Germantown, Ohio, with Military Services by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the . Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
