Robert FOX Obituary
News Death Notice
FOX, Robert Emil Age 90, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati on April 23, 1923, the son of Allen and Freida (Erlich) Fox. He was a graduate of Xavier University with BA in English. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army from March 19, 1942 to October 14, 1945 and served in the South Pacific. Bob married Marion Stoehr on September 10, 1948 in Cincinnati. He was employed as an insurance investigator for Equifax. He was a long time Boy Scout leader and supporter and instructor for the knife skill merit badge. He was involved in several woodcarving clubs at the Fitton Center, Partners in Prime and in Middletown. He was a past member of Kiwanis and was very active in the Isaac Walton League. He was a life member of the Fairfield VFW Post #1069. He is survived by his wife, Marion; a daughter, Anneliese Fox (Jim Kephart), South Windsor Connecticut; a son, Randall L. (Gaylene) Fox, Moores Hill, Indiana; two grandchildren, Zachary (Susan) Fox and Jacob Fox, all of Moores Hill and a great grandson. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013 at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Isaac Walton League, 450 Beissinger Road, Hamilton, Ohio 40513. Online condolences are available at www.weigelfuneralhome.com

I met Bob through Toastmasters at City of Hamilton. He was a kind, articulate man who shared his life experiences and skills with many. He was an example for all he met.

Like many other men in Hamilton Mr. Fox was our Scout Master. And it seems like most of us stayed friends with him after we got out of scouts. He was a very good friend. He never stopped teaching us even after Boy Scouts. Bob we love you and I will miss are talks more than any one will ever Know.

I met this man through my husband.one great soul.he was my husbands scout leader and also my son's.i don't think he had an enemy,he was humble and kind.very smart man.and the stories... he could tell would keep your attention.Bob along with many others,you will be missed greatly.rest in peace.

WORDS CANNOT EXPLAIN THE TYPE OF PERSON THIS MAN WAS. GROWING UP AND A MEMBER OF BOY SCOUTS,THIS MAN TAUGHT A BUNCH OF YOUNG MEN MORE THAN ANY ONE MAN COULD EVER TEACH YOU.
