Tedd TUCKER Obituary

News Death Notice

TUCKER, Tedd Arthur "Teddy" Passed away July 9, 2015 in Eaton, Ohio due to a suicide train accident. Tedd was born in Middletown, Ohio on January 21, 1962 and was the son of Patricia (Knapp) Tucker and Donald (Tuck) Tucker. Tedd was a graduate of Middletown High School and Miami University. He was a very talented model maker for over 30 years and had made models for Kenner Toys based in Cincinnati. He had also worked for 3-D Technical Services. Tedd loved cars, model trains, concerts, music and had a great love for animals, especially dogs. The last few years were not very happy times for Tedd after he lost his 30 year job that he loved, lost his mother, his home and all his worldly goods. Tedd never married, after his dad died at a young age, he felt the obligation to look after his mother until her death. Since he had no children of his own, he loved his friend's children. He had become suicidal and homeless after waiting over 29 months for his disability social security which he was expecting to receive July 7, 2015. He had tried to stay afloat for too long and just couldn't hang on any longer. Thanks to the many caregivers who encouraged and cared for Tedd the last couple of years. Tedd was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles. He will be missed by his cousins, Phyllis and Dave Urban of Springfield, Ohio, Linda and Russ Whited of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Glenda and Bill Bailey of Springfield, Ohio and Dorothy Van Buskirk of Middletown, Ohio and other cousins. He also leaves behind many friends. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Mausoleum at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio with Pastor Todd Dixon officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to P. A. W. S., 6302 Crossing Blvd., Monroe, OH 45050. and adopted a sheltered pet in Teddy's memory. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.

Tedd, I will miss your everyday phone calls and hearing how your day went (Good or Bad). We often talked of good family memories and your plans for the future. I wish it had been possible for your dreams to come true. You were one of the most generous people I've known. I wish your life had turned out differently because you had so much potential. I will always love you, my cousin. You were the best !!!!!

Tedd always joked about my dimple; wanted to "spackle that thing shut!" And he gave me my one and only ride in a Corvette...

Wish we didn't have to say good-bye so soon, cousin. When I think of you I will smile and remember your kind-heartedness and unique sense of humor that made laughter wherever you were. You were the fun-loving cousin that every family needs and we were privileged to have you. To Tedd's family I can't imagine your grief. I first met Teddy when were were about six or seven years old and remained friends throughout high school. He was always one of the kindest and friendliest people I have ever met. I spoke with him when I was in Middletown at the beginning of the year. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. You are all in our thoughts during this sad time.

Vaguely remember Teddy and his parents on occasional visits to my grandparents house when we were young kids. Never really got to know him then but remember his parents at family gatherings.

Sad story about him as I read it. Sorry his life couldn't have been happier as he got older.
