News Death Notice
AGEE, Virginia (Rawlins) age 87, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. She was born December 1, 1925 in Winchester, KY to James and Ollie (Hatton) Rawlins. She was a homemaker. Virginia was a member of the Women Auxiliary American Legion Post #218 with the Eagles and V.F.W. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed red birds and collecting antiques. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Agee in 1977; father, James F. Rawlins; mother, Ollie (Hatton) Rawlins Alexander and step-father, Jim W. Alexander; sisters, Zula Turvey, Barbara Pelfrey; brothers, William and James Robert Rawlins. Virginia is survived by daughters, Patti (Russ) Mittenholzer, Susan Carr both of Middletown; grandchildren, Amy Page, Sara (David) Reardon both of Middletown; great-grandchildren, Magen and Levi Page, Sam, Andrew and Matthew Reardon; sister, Ada (Eugin) Brooks of Franklin; sister-in-law, Dorothy Rawlins of Monroe; brother, Sherrill Alexander of Middletown, brother-in-law, Lloyd "Tiny" Turvey of Middletown and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Monday, January 28, 2013 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Collins officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
