CLAWSON, Doris Mae Butterfield Age 83, passed away Sunday evening, June 9, 2013 at Westover Retirement Home, in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born October 15, 1929, in Hamilton, Ohio; the daughter of Bryan W. Butterfield and Amy (Wilkins) Butterfield. She was a graduate of Ross High School. She was married to Marvin W. Clawson February 27, 1954 in Shandon Congregational Church and was married for 51 years. She was a former deacon, Sunday school teacher, and member of Venice Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She was also an active participant in the Fernald class action lawsuit, sold organic produce at Hamilton Courthouse and Oxford Farmers' Markets, and was an active member of the Butler County Farm Bureau Council for over 50 years. She is survived by her four daughters, Marcia Roark, Carol (James) Gable, Sharon (Frank) Pike, and Gwendolyn Hoendorf; eleven grandchildren, Dean Rufener, Bryan Rufener, David Rufener, Mark Roark, Merissa Adkins, Danielle (Luke) Williams, Hunter Pike, Mariah Pike, Derek Pike, Faith Hoendorf, and Justin Hoendorf; five great-grandchildren, Sky, Austin, Raevynn, Jaedynn, and Amber; two sisters, Phoebe Anne (late Walter) Booker and Maxine (Tom) Gurr, and one brother, Curtis (Sandy) Butterfield; and one sister-in-law, Pat (late Gordon) Butterfield; dear friend, Ora Jane Tipton and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, and one great-grandchild, Jayvin. Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 5-8PM at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio 45014. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 15, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following in Venice Cemetery.
