News Death Notice
KELLER, Helen Joann Age 84, died Friday, December 28, 2012 in Doverwood Village where she had resided. She was born in Hamilton on July 2, 1928, the daughter of Earl and Josephine (Whitehorn) Himmelhaver. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School. She married William A. Keller on June 14, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2010. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Elby) Harrison, Forest Park, Ohio and Mary Jo (David) Sams, Hamilton; four grandchildren, Andrea (Lee) Bartlett, Jeff (Tonya) Harrison, Michael (Kari) Sams, Rachel Schott; four great grandchildren, Sarah, Billy, Emma and Keller and baby Sams due in June. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Pastor Elby Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 30 from 3 p.m.to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Special thanks to the staff at Doverwood, Hospice of Southwest Ohio and to Dr. Pawel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church, 1200 Main Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, Harvest Christian Fellowship, 1245 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 or Unity Church of Today, 272 Britton Lane, Monroe, Ohio 45050. Joann was my parents best friends! Mary & Beverly, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! My parents loved them so much! Her & my Mom had so much fun at Jefferson carnavals! My sister Tammie Jo was named after her. May you have peace knowing she's in a better place with your dad & my parents! God Bless,
