News Death Notice
MCGLONE, Kala Michelle Short age 30, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013. Kala graduated from Madison Schools in 2000. Kala was an amazing mother and devoted wife who enjoyed reading novels and spending time with her "girls" and family. She is survived by her husband, Greg McGlone; three daughters, Kaylan Lynch 11, Kady Lynch 8, Karli McGlone 6; four step children, Zachary, James, and Melinda McGlone, Ashley Martin; five step grandchildren; parents, Rick (Thea Norrad) Short, Pam Short; one brother, Rickey (Mallorie) Short; nephew, Carter Short; niece, Bailey Short; grandparents, Ray and DeAnna Lear of Michigan; one aunt; three uncles; mother-in- law, Shirley McGlone; two sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law. Kala is preceded in death by grandparents, Hugh and Ginny Short; father-in-law, George McGlone; and lots of loving grandparents. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Miltonville Cemetery. Donations can be made to a memorial fund set up to help the girls at Fifth Third Bank in their names, Kaylan Lynch, Kady Lynch, and Karli McGlone.
